Unfunny and Thus Far...Meaningless

I don't want to be 60 years old standing on stage telling some jokes. I want my life to mean something.--Steve Harvey

The feeling is mutual, Steve.
It actually may be too late for you, Steve. Your sexist, homophobic rants continue to reveal you as an unfunny jackass--the depth of your narrow-minded bigotry is merely hinted at in this compilation video (below) of your "wit and wisdom." Why anyone would take relationship advice from you, or watch your lame, lowbrow, dimwitted comedies--well, there's no accounting for taste.

  1. I'm not the biggest Steve Harvey fan (anymore) however I think you took a lot of what he said out of context. Personally, I agree with some of his comments and no I'm not homophobic but I do have my beliefs. What ticks me off is when people express an opposition to gay rights we're the bad guys. As human beings I don't have to believe what you believe I just need to respect you as a person.

  3. To Anonymous at 11:35 am,

I didn't take ANYTHING Harvey said out of context--he kept emphasizing "real" men as inconsistent with gay men, which is absolutely homophobic. He makes homophobic and sexist commentary on a regular basis as well.

Your "beliefs" have nothing to do with human rights--you have a right to your "beliefs," but that has nothing to do with the government supporting equality for all, as enumerated in our constitution (especially the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 19th civil rights amendments), and in Supreme Court cases and civil rights acts.

What you call "opposition to gay rights" is actually opposition to human rights, to civil rights. Yes, you are a "bad guy" if you do not support equal rights for everyone. Yes, you are homophobic if you do not support equal rights for everyone.

I don't care what you believe, and you should not care what I believe--you have a right to your beliefs.

But I will say this: if you do not believe in my rights as a human being, you do not respect me.
