In Media Res

On Good Morning America, Friday, September 14, 2012:

George Stephanopoulos: "Is $100,000 middle income?"

Mitt Romney: "No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less."

GSGS!

  1. Here it is I thought I was the middle class, but far from it. I have been living in poverty with a $100,000 salary. Is there a "safety net" for me?

I guess those who I thought were living in poverty were actually "non-existent".

  4. To 11:47 PM:

I will not go see "2016"--having seen the ridiculous trailer for this "movie," and seeing the involvement of right-wing conspiracy theorist and longtime "polemicist-purporting-to-be-objective" Dinesh D'Souza (who certainly needs to GSDS!), I think I will pass. Here's what some major film critics had to say about this hot mess:

"[This] unsubstantiated mess isn't much of a movie or a documentary."

"'2016: Obama's America' is the sort of paranoid, conspiracy-theory thriller I'm always a sucker for. But it's not as entertaining when it purports to be the truth."

"Anti-Obama documentary trades objectivity for persuasion."

"No one doubts that the country faces major challenges in the next four years, but there is one safe bet: The future is unlikely to be affected by this simplistic documentary."

"The film is a sleepy dud, a polemic that, like D'Souza himself, is at once both outrageous and deeply boring."

I saved my money and went to see "Beasts of the Southern Wild," a REAL MOVIE.
